I go to work as usual today. (17/03/09)
But I was surprised that many employees wear green cloth or hat or samething green one.
I asked them abut green things like that.They told me
" today is St Patrickday !!!!!!!! "
I did'nt understand what they say.
so,I checked on internet about today.

今日は、平日の２００９年３月１７日ですが、いつも通り会社に行くと
会社員の人達の多くが緑色の服や変わった形の緑の帽子や緑のものを身に着けていました。
気になって聞いてみると、『今日は、セント　パトリックディ』だからよ！！
と言われましたが、何のことやらさっぱり分かりませんでした。
そこで、インターネットで調べると、今日は四葉のクローバーを思いだす日だそうです。
祝日気分で、お酒を飲む良い理由をを作ってるそうですよ。
オーストラリアらしいですね。

のどが渇いたコアラ達

２００９年２月７日。土曜日。ビクトリア州の南メルボルン地方で、ブッシュファイヤーが有りました。
約１８０人もの方が亡くなり、約２０００戸の家が壊されました。
今回の火災の主な原因は、４７度近い高温と乾燥と強い風で、ユーかリンの木が多い地帯のため
木から油が出て燃え広がってしまったようです。
あるニュースでは、現地の家や家具等が無くなってしまった住民に無料の服やおもちゃ、テント、仮のトイレなどが支給されたようです。けがを負った人たちのために献血活動も行っているそうです。
私達の学校（TAFE）では、ブッシュファイヤーについての勉強をし、自分がその場に居合わせた際の準備を勉強しました。
例）
☆自宅を所有している場合は、周りの木を家から離れた場所に移す。
☆家の周りにコンクリートで作る避難場所を設置する。
☆屋根にスプリンクラーを取り付ける。
☆その時に備えた服装を準備する。ゴーグル、グローブ、ブーツ、長袖シャツ、長ズボン、マスク等。
☆火事の放送をラジオで聞き、慌てて外に出ない。
☆ドアの下に水にぬらしたタオル等を入れる。
☆キッチンなどのシンクに水を溜める。
など、事前に用意しないといけないことが多いようです。

先日、普段は人間に近づかない野性のコアラが暑過ぎるためにのどが渇き、消防員に
水をもらう映像を観ましたので、ブログに載せます。
またオーストラリアでは、この悲しい出来事を”ブラックサタディ”っと呼んでいます。

January 26 is Australian's day!!!
and I study about Australia day history today.

I was watching them yesterday 9pm.

Merry Chriatmas

Bunbury

I went to Bunbury with my husbands for his bisiness trip.
Bunbury is South of WA and it takes about two and half hours from perth by car.
It is the second time for me to go there for 1 week holiday.
I went there by bus from bus port for this time.
The cost was only AU$12(use concession)
Mon to Fri, I walked around city but it was not so fun because I have to stay there myself.
He had to work his office until evening so I killed time there for long time.
but I could watched natural dolphin!!!!!! I was so happy.
he was quite small but jumped many time.

Fri to sun ,we went to Busselton and Margart River.

ひでくんの出張でバンバリーに一週間行きました。

バンバリーは、パースから南へ約２時間３分の小さな町です。

今回は、私だけ片道をバスを利用して行きましたがバスがとっても安かったです。

＄１２（学生割引ですが。。。）

ガソリン代にもならないですね。

平日は、ひでくんが仕事で夕方まで帰らないため、街を一人で歩きました。

バンバリーには、図書館が唯一街中に一つあるのですが、そこが工事中で入れない

ということにまずびっくりです。

みなさんはどこで勉強するのでしょうか？？？

でも大丈夫！！！少し離れていますが、ＴＡＦＥ　と　ＥＣＵ（学校）があるので

そこの図書館を使わせてもらいました。

そして、なんと初めて野生のイルカを見ました！！！！

子供のイルカくんで、元気に何度も飛び跳ねていました。

野生のイルカを見たかったので、本当に嬉しかったです！！
